Simple as ABC
Started in 2015, Simple as ABC is a series of performances and installations that throw a spotlight on the European Union’s border regime. Across the series, Thomas wrestles with the ease of travel his Belgian passport gives him — and the border violence it hides. Each episode is shaped by encounters with EU officials, police officers, smugglers, journalists, aid workers, and people forced to cross EU borders without official authorisation.
