DE ONKREUKELBARE
2012 | KVS & STEIGEISEN (Brussels)
De onkreukelbare is an archival collage performance, which takes its inspiration from the controversial figure of Maximilien de Robespierre. During the most turbulent days of the French Revolution, the visionary statesman and self-proclaimed pacifist helped send thousands of people to the guillotine.
The result is an associatively visualised exploration of how rebellions germinate, go off the rails and are commemorated.
